The editor of the CIoL Linguist magazine has kindly sent me a copy of the latest edition, which features my short article on the lovely Foodie Translators’ Facebook group. Here’s the link to the online version too. I’m incredibly proud of this group, which I first set up over 5 years ago, back in January 2016, and which has gone from strength to strength in the intervening period. It has become a beacon of support and distraction therapy over the past year of lockdowns, depressing news and food shortages. Networking at its best…. Thanks to everyone who has made it what it is today – with 4,200 members and counting, we must be doing something right.

Wow how cool is that! Congratulations on the article, and on starting a group that is bringing joy and support to so many people, well done!
Thanks, Marie. Another, longer article coming up in a future edition of the ITI Bulletin too. I was asked to do both at around the same time, quite by coincidence 😊
Whatever is in that oven looks great. Want some. Good luck!
